The Organizing Committee of the VIII Congress of the Brazilian Institute for the Law of the Sea (BILOS) hereby announces a call for submission and presentation of papers at the event to be held in Brasília (DF) on November 25-26, 2024.

The BILOS Congress is the main venue for the Law of the Sea in Brazil and Latin America and is dedicated to the dissemination of the Law of the Sea from a transdisciplinary perspective. BILOS holds its Congress annually, and after having been hosted in Belo Horizonte (MG), Caxias do Sul (RS), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and Salvador (BA), the event will now arrive in the Federal Capital. Since 2017, the BILOS Congress has aimed to bring together researchers, students, professors, and professionals committed to producing scientific knowledge about the Law of the Sea, establishing itself as a reference for discussions at the national, regional, and international levels.
